I wanted to test the trimmer with the SAM module and see if there were any differences compared to the lawnmower module. Having a sloping area and spots with limited maneuvering space, I definitely noticed improvements when using the trimmer with the SAM module. Less stress on the trimmer when making maneuvers, micro corrections around boundaries instead of actual maneuvers, and greater coverage of the areas by reducing their size with the SAM module. A negative aspect is on climbing slopes, probably due to an imbalance in weight at the rear, which tends to make the tracks slip slightly, and too many non-existent obstacles that are detected by its cameras.

How did you map the edge finishing with the Sam & Trimmer? Want try. Looking for the best way.
I also use one of my Yarbos to trim with SAM because it can get closer without activating the bumper on the mower. But if Yarbo gets too close to a tree for example and Yarbo gets lost as it often does. then just drive it up the tree so it doesn’t notice it’s too close before it’s knocked over. So you have to keep an eye on it.
So I’m assuming you specifically mapped your memory paths with the SAM installed so you can get closer to the areas you want to trim, right?
That would mean to me that those specific memory paths are only suitable for use with SAM.
I’ve been considering the pros and cons of doing the same thing. But I keep coming back to… I don’t feel like disconnecting the mower and installing SAM each time I want to do trimming.

I have two and they both got mowers. The SAM is only a troubleshooting tool for me. Just sits on the shelf. I need all of its features added to all modules.
I created the trimmer cutting paths using the SAM and had it execute them… With the SAM, it’s more agile in the tightest and most complex spots. It needs much less space to maneuver.
