Track slipped off and “derailed”

Thank you Bryan!

Mine doesn’t spin like that, but it ponders its next move way too often – rocks back and forth, wiggles, backs up, whatever. I hope the navigation fixes address the circles and some of this other weirdness.

what is the deflection and at what force at the midpoint between drive and idler wheels for the track on the rover? i would like to know if my tracks are at the required tension to prevent the tracks from derailing without overloading the bearings in the drive and idler wheels. the tracks on my machine have derailed several times. i have greased the tracks as per yarbo recommendations. the deflection at force is the appropriate method to tension the tracks.

@softedge88 Hi there, we don’t have exact deflection-and-force measurements available for the track tension. However, to better understand your situation, could you share more details about the detracking issue? For example, does it usually happen in the same location, under the same conditions, or does it occur randomly?

We would also appreciate it if you could submit a support ticket regarding this issue so our team can review it in detail and assist you further.
