Mine doesn’t spin like that, but it ponders its next move way too often – rocks back and forth, wiggles, backs up, whatever. I hope the navigation fixes address the circles and some of this other weirdness.
what is the deflection and at what force at the midpoint between drive and idler wheels for the track on the rover? i would like to know if my tracks are at the required tension to prevent the tracks from derailing without overloading the bearings in the drive and idler wheels. the tracks on my machine have derailed several times. i have greased the tracks as per yarbo recommendations. the deflection at force is the appropriate method to tension the tracks.

For example, does it usually happen in the same location, under the same conditions, or does it occur randomly?

I recently have the issue that the right track comes off. Tension is good and also the wheel bearings are new.
It is a heatwave here in NY (around a 100 degrees) and I am wondering if it could be related.
I did not grease the tracks recently (out of grease). Could this be the issue? If yes why don’t I have this with my left track, just wondering.
Today I had to put the track back on 4 times and I assure you that it is no fun in these temperatures.
Besides the grease, can there be any other issue causing this?

I checked also if the tracks are put on in the right direction.
Sounds like something support should investigate. It should not do this. Is there any slop or play in the bearings or wheels at all?
