Use it. Most likely they aren’t looking at it until evening when you’re most likely not using it.
I knew it…..
Put in a ticket. They asked me to send them serial number, order number and address(why?) and to hook up the trimmer and stay connected so they could remotely diagnose… I sent them that and told them trimmer was connected (like they asked me to do)… they closed my ticket and said they were glad it was connected and working now… I guess I should have been more clear, lol.
Waiting for next reply now.
At least you got a reply, I did everything they wanted and got silence..
Today was Day 1 of my new trimmer actually working. I’m still trying to refine and perfect my Memory Paths, but so far so good.
I need to get the paths to where they are foolproof and reliable. Not there yet, but I’ll keep iterating until I get them just right.
Show off with your fancy little trimmer…
Yea. Until it breaks again!! My first one literally only lasted about an hour before it died
Hi there, the information we requested is needed to help us diagnose the correct machine and ensure that, if a replacement is required, it can be processed and shipped to the correct address.
We apologize for the confusion caused by the misunderstanding. Our team will follow up with you soon regarding your Trimmer issue.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
They want to send me a replacement(refurb) core… everything else is working fine… I may just give up on the trimmer.
You’ve got to imagine they have a couple 100 to a couple 1000 trimmer tickets open right now. Assuming most that shipped don’t work without some kind of employee interaction. Or maybe they did work but don’t now. So there could be a two ticket trimmer situation. Seems like 5 worked and after the update none worked.
Seems like a daunting task for the FSE guy/girl (singular).
I just don’t know that I want to take a chance on replacing my working core (other than the trimmer) with one that potentially has more issues… i guess there may not be an alternative though.
There may be the option to refurbish your core, will take longer though. You could inquire if you’re interested.
They offered to refurb my core, and I highly considered it cause my core had been perfect until the power board died.
I probably would if this wasn’t peek growth season for bermuda…
Yeah I would be hesitant sending it out peak season, I can see it taking a month if you have to ship both ways and time to repair.
How long does it usually take for them to ship the replacement core? I read on Facebook what needs to be done when it arrives—keeping your own antennas, battery, and side track plates… interesting.
In the end, I got a replacement core instead, for the reasons you guys mentioned. I wanted a fast turnaround.
In the end, I made the right decision given the circumstances. My replacement core has been perfect so far.
I’m waiting for them to tell me when they’ll ship it… does anyone know the timeframe?
That can vary based on region and local supplies.
In Italy, products usually arrive from Germany when Yarbo handles it directly.
