The timing really does vary a lot. Could be a really quick turnaround. Could be a week. Could be slightly longer.
Overall though, getting a replacement machine would likely be faster than having yours repaired.

I haven’t gotten any shipping details or response to what exactly was broken on the core (figured it was worth a shot asking)… I am not in much of a hurry though as long as the rest of the core keeps working.
I asked too, but they haven’t answered me yet.
So it sounds like the software can’t recognize the trimmer automatically so every trimmer has to be manually recognized by a Yarbo employee?
Take a number.
Hahaha
Nice.

@Yarbo-Forum do I have that close to being accurate?
Will this impact future accessories that attach to the core?
What happens when we disconnect the trimmer after it being activated by an employee? Will it reconnect automatically?
Is there something in the hardware that is bricking the core or the trimmer from connecting?
Are all our cores going to need to be replaced if so?
From what I can tell, the core knows the trimmer is there, but isn’t authorized to use it. The trimmer needs to be activated.
So yes is the answer? So if 2,000 trimmers have been sold then I could be 1744 to get mine activated.
3 days wait time divided 1744 trimmers = 581 days for 1 person working on 1 problem.
That a sweaty ass chair to be sitting in.
Hi there, based on your region, you can usually expect to receive the replacement Core within 1–2 weeks after the replacement process has been initiated.
Hi there, thanks for sharing your concerns.
If your Trimmer has already been activated, you can continue using it normally. Disconnecting the Trimmer afterward will not affect its future use or connection.
Not all Core units need to be replaced. For any Trimmer connection issue, please contact our support team and we will help troubleshoot and resolve the issue. We also have dedicated FSE support to handle Trimmer-related cases.
Thanks again for sharing your feedback and concerns.
Thanks @Yarbo-Forum.
I have a ticket open (6 or 7 days now) for the trimmer. Mine never worked out of the box.
@ben.karrow Our support team has just applied a remote fix to your trimmer. It should be recognized and operate normally now.
Please give it a try and let us know if you encounter any further issues.
@ben.karrow Sounds like you’re in the Working Trimmer Club now!! Congrats and welcome!
Just putting it through it’s first run! Pretty impressed so far. Just assigned a perimeter run to see.
Thank you @rgloverii @Yarbo-Forum
I got an email that on Thursday at 5am the want to run tests with trimmer to figure out all the odd issues it has.
Sounds like an early start to your day on Thursday! It’ll be worth it if your issues get resolved.
I hope Yarbo Support shows up to the call.
I don’t think it is a meeting, I think they are just remote-ing in to rover.
It says they want to perform a test on the rover and trimmer
That means they probably want to activate the robot remotely and turn on plans and the trimmer, etc.
I wonder if I should leave it out in the open. On the dock it is a 50-50 shot that it has gps. Sometimes you wait, sometimes I need to drive it ahead 5 feet to get a lock.
I’d ask the question in the ticket and see. My guess is they will want it on the dock.
I left mine on the dock, under the dog shelter when they wanted to remote in and test it
