I have before too, but they never drove it before, just tested stuff.
Mine was cockeyed on the dock (charging) after the remote in. I feel they definitely drove it off the dock. Or at least wiggled it.

Ticket #204315
Been open since May.
Line feed errors = replacement sent = never recognized
I wish lightning would just destroy this $7k p.o.s and I could then justify throwing it way. It’s so large and heavy I don’t even know how I would get rid of it. Dump run
Years of trouble and I still have to mow, trim, snowblow, & pay $50 to pick up the trash. You can get anything you want at Yarbo’s… except for working equipment
Hello Nathan,
Welcome to the forum, but sorry about your trimmer challenges.
Something was recently changed that is requiring all of the trimmers to be activated by Yarbo support. It’s not just you. But once they update your ‘bot, the trimmer should be working as expected again.
When was the last action or communication on your ticket? And what was said?
Hi!
7 days ago I got this joke and followed up that none of this worked or was helpful. I also added camera disconnect errors to the list. The new firmware also hasn’t helped with these either.
My fav is this part: Add Device" or “Scan” to search for the trimmer
Dear Nathan,
Thank you for reaching out and for your patience. I understand how frustrating it must be to encounter connection issues with the new trimmer, especially after the previous line feed problems. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Regarding the app connection issue: since the green light is on, the trimmer has power. Please try the following steps:
- Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled, and that the Yarbo app has all necessary permissions (location, Bluetooth, etc.).
- In the app, go to the device list and tap “Add Device” or “Scan” to search for the trimmer. If it doesn’t appear, try restarting the app or your phone.
- If still not connecting, try resetting the trimmer by holding the power button for 10 seconds until the light blinks, then release and attempt pairing again.
As for the constant network errors and slow map loading, this may be related to your internet connection or app cache. Please try:
- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.
- Clearing the app cache in your phone settings, or reinstalling the app.
- Ensuring your app is updated to the latest version from the app store.
We have noted both issues and will share them with our engineering team for further review. Once we have any updates, we will follow up with you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We’re here to help whenever you need.
Best regards,
Nathan

Ok. That was really bad. Obviously that information is 100% incorrect. I bet it was totally Ai generated.
I suggest calling the support line and asking that your trimmer issue be escalated. Make sure they understand that the trimmer isn’t being recognized. They should know what needs to be done to correct the issue.
@Yarbo-Forum Please check out how this person got such bad tech support advice. This is not helpful to the customer.
Unfortunately, this company has spent years overpromising and underdelivering. As someone who genuinely loves technology and has been a long-time advocate of Yarbo, I’ve reached the end of my patience.
From the beginning, Yarbo has been plagued by fundamental design flaws. It shouldn’t take an engineering degree to recognize that exposing circuit boards to the elements is a serious reliability issue that should never have made it into production. Asking customers to apply epoxy as a workaround is not an acceptable solution to a manufacturing defect.
In today’s competitive market, successful hardware companies rely on experienced engineering teams, sound manufacturing practices, and an agile approach to identifying and correcting problems. When those elements are missing, the result is exactly what we’ve seen with Yarbo: consumers become beta testers. It’s difficult to see how a company can remain profitable while repeatedly shipping replacement equipment and absorbing the cost of heavy freight returns.
What has been equally disappointing is the customer support experience. Long-time supporters often receive delayed, unhelpful responses that stretch unresolved issues across entire seasons. In the meantime, customer confidence continues to erode. The grass keeps growing, and every time I have to do the work that these machines were purchased to handle, I’m reminded of the significant investment sitting idle. Enthusiastic early adopters eventually become frustrated critics, sharing their experiences with neighbors and online communities. It also raises legitimate concerns about the future: What happens when my warranty expires? What happens if the company is no longer financially able to support products with ongoing reliability issues?
Perhaps the most frustrating part is the apparent failure to learn from past mistakes. The same types of problems continue to reappear instead of being permanently addressed through better engineering and quality control.
I could list dozens of issues I’ve experienced over the years, but the trimmer has become the final straw that broke this greenskeepers back.
I purchased the trimmer as soon as it became available, figuring that it was effectively a crowdfunding product and choosing to support the company’s vision. I even accepted a delayed spring shipment, believing the additional time was being used to resolve known issues before release. Instead, the shipment was delayed again, and when it finally arrived, it has never functioned properly.
At this point, I no longer have any interest in advocating for this company. For years, I recommended Yarbo to friends, neighbors, and anyone interested in robotic lawn care because I believed in its vision and wanted it to succeed. That goodwill has been exhausted. Repeated product failures, broken promises, and a pattern of poor communication have eroded the trust that advocacy depends on. Rather than continuing to invest my time, energy, and optimism into a company that has consistently failed to meet expectations, I’ve decided it’s time to cut my losses and move on. I genuinely hope Yarbo learns from these experiences and improves for the sake of its remaining customers, but I can no longer recommend its products with confidence.
I am genuinely concerned that other longtime Yarbo owners are beginning to feel the same way as you. I can’t go into specifics, but I have had pretty much this exact conversation with Yarbo leadership.
Hopefully things get better, both for the customer base, as well as for the company. I would hate to see Yarbo fail.
I’m really sorry for the frustration and inconvenience you have experienced with this case. I completely understand how disappointing it is to have an issue remain unresolved for such a long time.
I have reached out to the FSE responsible for your ticket #204315 and asked them to review your case as soon as possible. We will work to get this properly addressed and find the right solution for you.
I will continue to follow up on this case to help ensure it is handled correctly. Thank you for your patience and for bringing this to our attention.
Ticket 221596. Can you please try the remote fix for me as well? I was told that they want to replace my core for this issue; It would be the 2nd core shipped to me in less than 2 weeks. Trimmer stopped working after new core updated
Before that happens, I just want to make sure it’s not just a software glitch. Seems silly to waste the man hours and freight for this exercise.
@salaupan I’ve checked your ticket in our system. We’re sorry for the confusion and understand your concern about replacing another Core, especially since this would be the second Core shipped to you in less than two weeks.
Regarding your request for a remote fix, we apologize that our FSE team misunderstood your intention and proceeded with the on-site repair option instead. We have clarified your request and reviewed your case again.
After checking your case, we found that your issue is different from the other cases shared in the forum that were resolved through a remote fix. Unfortunately, a Core replacement is still recommended in your situation to properly resolve the issue.
We’re sorry for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. We will continue to follow up on your ticket and help move forward with the next steps.
I’m having the same issue, as well as my right camera disconected a few days before the trimmer stopped showing up.
Hello.
Open a ticket with Yarbo Support and post the ticket number here. They’ll activate the trimmer remotely and you will be all set.
Mine has been active and now it’s gone. It’s even dissappeared from the warranty list
Do you happen to recall when the last time you saw it in the app? And the last time you used it?
Well… got my replacement core, pretty scratched up on top but it seems only cosmetic… inside looks clean and has the new plastic cover which my current one doesn’t have…
But here is the concerning thing, went to take the cover that is over the power button and ports… and I can’t (well without breaking it) the metal piece under it is up higher than the bottom… or I think maybe bent in so that it hits the plastic piece.
Anyone seen this before / is it an indication of a bigger problem and worth contacting Yarbo about or just force it out of there and move on?
Yes, this is somewhat common from mishandling in shipping. There are some bolts you can loosen and possibly try and reorient it some, but the easiest way is to take a block of wood and give the bumper a few taps with a hammer on the wood.
Ok, good deal, thanks @bryan.wheeler I will give it a shot.
Also that was a really fast reply ![]()
Here is the official video. Note, I’ve done this without removing the shell.
