Will Yarbo Function when the Internet is out?

I’m fairly sure that the answer is Yes, provided it is within range of the Data Center.

App management will depend on how you connect to the core or data center in that circumstance, obviously. But the core does have a SIM that you can enable.

The answer is yes it will.

The app can connect to the core over Bluetooth/wifi/cellular and also over your LAN (home network) through the DC’s WiFi HaLow. As long as you can communicate with the core, you can control and monitor it.

The core has to be able to communicate directly to the DC. WiFi HaLow is the best way for this but WiFi could be a backup option in the event Halow was out of range or not working. However, cellular backup for this communication would not work because there is no Internet access for the DC.

I should caution that using WiFi on the rover can cause issues, so use it only when necessary and rely on the more reliable HaLow.

You can actually test this by unplugging the LAN side of the POE injector from your home router. The injector will still supply power to the DC and it will continue to operate in local mode without internet.
