I had to get a replacement core. The newer core apparently comes with plastic protectors on the side of the treads. Mine broke with the first rock it encountered!
I believe these were metal on the previous Core that I had.
Yarbo, please don’t cut corners to shave a few dollars of cost off a product this expensive!
All the new cores ship with the plastic plates installed and the metal plates are in the accessories box. They are mostly for light duty lawn use but it’s recommended to swap the metal plates when you get it. If you returned your core with the metal plates, I would recommend reaching out to support and see if they can assist you with getting replacements.

I hadn’t shipped the old one back. Support told me to just swap them. So, I had to un-package and re-package, but got it sorted out now. Thanks.
