The Yarbo Plow Blade makes it easier to handle wet and packed snow. To get the best performance, be sure to explore the Plow Mode settings and customize them for your needs.
Once the plow blade is installed, open Yarbo Settings and enable Plow Mode. From there, you can set the snow-plowing direction and configure the plow blade settings for each working area.
You can fine-tune the plow blade by adjusting the Overlap and Auger Minimum Height. If you choose to run the job twice, you can set different parameters for the second pass. You can also enable Cleanup Trace on the second round to automatically shift the route slightly and ensure a cleaner finish.
FAQ: Why is the snow-throwing direction different from my settings when Yarbo is clearing the perimeter?
Yarbo will always clean the perimeter of an area before starting the internal routes. While clearing the perimeter, it will first attempt to throw snow in the direction you selected. However, if the chosen direction is not reachable during a perimeter pass, Yarbo may temporarily throw snow toward the inside of the area. It will then clean that snow during the following passes.
What’s the estimated release on fixing some/most of the chute direction issues? The perimeters aren’t even going the right directions. This one starts out correct but once it makes the first corner it’s aiming the wrong way and then switches to blowing snowing onto the siding of the garage, also still not to the center.
Yeah, kinda thought they would have cleared their S1 backlog fixes with a couple firmware updates nuggets for us to chew on by now and shut us up for a min
Definitely not on the todo list. I’ve seen them state as much a few times. However, the manual approach suggested I feel is something easily done and more likely to be implemented.
