Yep, nice thing is I can wait until the wind dies down, school is cancelled again today so I’ll head out shortly this morning to do it
We need to start posting Video on youtube about the ACTUAL preformace of yarbo and its snowblowing.. How Aweful the zero turns are… how bad the turning logic is… How short runs are maximized when they would be better just blended into a work that has already been done… I have one area that it does short runs at the top and short runs on the bottom and creates small triangles… TURNS ARE PROBLEMATIC… 99% of the time yarbo get stuck doing turns… for me its extermely rare for it to get stuck any other time….
I Just feel that Talking about stuff on the forums is pointless … It seems Support only is given to PPP members that “Showcase” everything positive and downplay issues with “workarounds” that make it a chore to use…
Multiple perimeters are NEEDED for snowblowing…
The space made by perimeters should be used for turning instead of using the side of the snowblower as a plow to push the snow and make the tracks churn snow and dig deeper into the snow than what is needed…
Zero turns DIg into packed snow and create uneven terrain that causes problems…
Yarbo Needs to understand how big it is… It constantly backs up into the edges and keeps pushing untill its tracks no longer have any grip because they have dug out all of the snow under them and its now high sided..
Heard, Chef!
Yup. 100% agree!
I’ve noticed lately too that it fairly regularly tries to back up into uncleared sections too when trying to escape from the mess it put itself in attempting zero turns.
Its not lately… I posted a video last March(2025) of it doing that… It was sent for “Consideration” … so nothing will be done about it… We just need to start posting videos of all of the bad logic the snowblower has… it appears that anything that will improve the snowblowing isn’t really going to be done… Just things they can use in marketing to sell more units…. RIght now there is almost no realistic content of what to actually expect from the snowblower out there…
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We understand your frustration, especially regarding the turning behavior, zero turns, and perimeter handling during snowblowing. These are important aspects of overall performance, and we truly appreciate you calling them out so clearly.
Please rest assured that Yarbo values your voice and is always working toward providing a better user experience and better products for all users. I have shared your feedback with our team, specifically highlighting the concerns around turning logic, zero-turn behavior, short-run path planning, and perimeter-based maneuvering.
Input like yours helps us identify where improvements are most needed. Thank you again for being candid and engaged — it’s genuinely helpful as we continue refining the system.
Couple more amazing zero turns![]()
Seriously! Here’s is how much zero turns suck and how to fix it all in 1 video!
confirming stuck at 1:30
manually unsticking at 1:39
unstuck at 2:05
carefully navigating past the trenches at 2:25
digging out trenches at 2:40
full demonstration of properly clearing a corner through 3:54, 1 extra pass would probably be enough but I wanted to demonstrate a completely foolproof option.

That’s a really great example of clearing a corner, I can’t wait for this to be baked into the firmware. Oh, and nice driving skills!
I hope the Yarbo engineers look at the video
He’s on timeout to think about what he’s done, while I drink my coffee… so frustrating
Was doing so good with the driveway, even did the snow plow bank at the end…then gets stuck 5’ from the dock insisting on the stupid zero turn…twice!
Sorry. That’s gotta be super frustrating. ![]()
yeesh, can’t catch a break today…![]()
Starts out impressive…then you realize it’s aiming kinda the wrong direction…then it does the magic zero turn and even gets stuck in the “middle” of the concrete driveway…
Maybe Yarbo’s engineers should spend a week at your house for some worst case scenario testing…
Seriously.
I’m glad @rcguymike is sharing these. I really do hope they’re using all of these examples as test data.
Also, it makes me thankful we don’t have that amount of snow regularly.
Exactly! @rcguymike has really raised the bar when it comes to snowfall! I can’t even imagine.
