Using the current updates today (SW V3.18.3 / HW V3.13.3) and noticed this occur four times in a row. The 2024 Core will pull in “head” first to docking station and act like it’s recharging.
Is this normal ???

No it’s not. I would open a ticket. I would also dock it manually the correct way to recharge.
@bryan.wheeler Maybe if I moved to Australia ??
indeed. Might be the coreolis effect.
Hi there, this behavior is definitely not normal. I’ve also located your support ticket in our system.
Our support team will take a closer look and investigate this for you. We really appreciate your patience while we work to get this resolved.
Then you would be upside down not back to front.

Dear Customer,
I hope you are doing well.
I have completed further diagnostics on your Yarbo unit (SN: ######), including checks of both the Core and the Docking Station. At this time, no hardware or system abnormalities have been detected.
The docking behavior you observed — where the unit approaches the docking station head-first before repositioning — is related to the system’s environmental verification logic. Before final docking, the Yarbo evaluates the area around and above the Docking Station to confirm there are no obstacles, signal interference, or environmental conditions that could affect safe docking and charging alignment.
Because of this, the unit may occasionally perform additional positioning or orientation adjustments prior to completing the docking sequence. This behavior is part of the designed navigation and safety process rather than an indication of a fault with the Core or Docking Station.
At the moment, the system logs and remote diagnostics indicate that the unit is operating normally.
That said, we will continue monitoring the behavior from our side. If you notice the docking process failing completely, repeated unsuccessful docking attempts, or abnormal positioning behavior beyond the adjustment process, please let us know and, if possible, provide a short video with timestamps for further analysis.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
