Docking dance?

Is this common? I noticed yarbo hadn’t started charging and it was just wiggling side to side without really moving.

couple other odd things here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/cPb9E4v3bC4SNwBw5

Yeah it will wiggle trying to line up perfectly. Probably a little harder with snow and ice and the deep treads. Did it eventually dock and charge?

He’s shivering…. poor thing….

nope…usually it turns and drives off the dock, turns and tries backing back on. This is the first time he looked like he was “shivering”:joy:

I ended up aligning it manually and hitting charge

He was working hard, I checked the battery temps and they were 24C when it returned to the dock 1 of the times😁, probably thankful it wasn’t sunny and 110F😁

If it makes you feel any better, mine will do a full-on square dance when docking sometimes then fails completely. I manually drive it forward and somehow having it sashay to its new partner works and it will dock.

That made me laugh!!

Good one @mike1

Yeah, mine usually always looks like it’s spot on to dock the first time, then it stops about 4” short and does the square dance😂, it usually gets it with ~3-4 “repositionings” but it has failed a handful of times…sometimes just hitting the recharge button it’ll wait 15 seconds, not move and then start charging. It’s usually good though

Just curious, have you enabled the Docking Station Cleanning?

Yep I’ve been using the clear 2 times option for the last few weeks now that the base is down and it doesn’t catch on the edging at all
