3D profiling the lawn?

As the northern hemisphere comes into lawn cutting season and the stupid amounts of rain we are having, in Ohio at the least, I’ve noticed how bad the drainage is on my property (1st year of ownership). It got me thinking how much data does yarbo collect from the GPS system.

Obviously lateral data but what about vertical data? There has got to be vertical data and can it be used to create a 3D map of the lawn to potentially come up with drainage plan for high spots low spot etc.

I dont think that they would have this. I think it’s more concerned with realtime slope vs historical. Would be nice though to better estimate the work plan completion times and for better path planning. You could probably do some type of integration with the home assistant plugin and Google Maps or something.

Much easier to just download a free LiDAR point cloud and run it through AI.

What’s the resolution on the free lidar maps?

Mine was 10cm.
