When programming a boundary, it would be very nice to be able to add a waypoint and also remove the last waypoint.
I have some tight curves and the default frequency of the saved waypoints ends up causing Yarbo to miss some grass because it drives in straight lines between waypoints that are too far apart. I would like to add more frequent waypoints to solve this. Please give us an “add waypoint” button.
Also, when programming the boundary, if I make a mistake, I have to start over. It would be very nice to have a “delete last waypoint” button.
Thank you for sharing your suggestions regarding the mapping process. We’re actively working on improving this experience.
For your first suggestion about adding waypoints, we’ll pass that along to our product team for further consideration.
As for your second suggestion, we’re currently developing a feature that will allow the rover to reverse to a previous point during mapping, so you can make edits without starting over. This feature is still in development and may evolve, but that’s the direction we’re heading in.
That’s good news! I think a delete waypoint button would still be useful. For example, a long straight edge that you didn’t drive perfectly straight. You could just delete your wiggling waypoints between the two corners so the edge is perfectly straight.
Yeah please add a waypoint mode:
For example add 4 Waypoints and create a map (rectangular) of it. Currently my outline of the map is pretty wobbly / not exactly a line because of the not so good GPS signal. Also it is annoying when learning a new map and GPS got lost (when you are under a tree) then it’s kind of luck to get the map completed (at the moment you have to get back to last valid GPS signal).
