Best way to relocate the dock for the winter

I want to move my docking station for the winter. What’s the safest way to do this?

I don’t want to mess anything up, and I thought I heard that maps or something might get goofed up if you change it incorrectly.

You can move it and just add it as your winter location. And go through a new dock location set up and add your pathway. I have a winter and summer location just like you.

Do you delete the old dock somehow? Or does adding a new one take care of that?

This might help, ignore the no docking station part. Just be sure and add it. Once you have the new one it will auto enable by default. Come spring, enable the old dock location. Just make sure you put it back exactly in the same spot. Otherwise, you just need to delete it and reinstall. Maps should be fine.

Virtual Docking Station

So you create it by going to edit map, docking station and add a docking station. [image] Select no docking station link at the bottom. It creates a fake area that looks like a dock that it will go and park at. However, I would create this in a good GPS area outside the garage and not inside. You don’t want it having GPS drift issues while going into the garage.
