We’re really sorry to hear that the issue is still occurring, even after replacing the core. Could you please confirm if the charging problem is still happening now? If so, we’ll forward your case to our support team for further investigation. Rest assured, we’ll work closely with you to identify the root cause and resolve it as quickly as possible.
charging is now working with the new core. thanks!
Same here. Charging is now working with the new core.
I need a new core as well then mine will not charge I have tried everything.
Machine cuts great but having to go out and plug in all the time blows really hope I get some help soon
It’s a known software issue. Put in a ticket. They can remotely fix it most likely.
Ok
Like many here, I had to get a new core to fix wireless charging. Now my physical controller won’t connect to the new core. It worked fine with the original core. Anyone found a way to reset and reconnect?
This should get you going. https://support.yarbo.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-reconnect-yarbo-with-the-controller-7-11-2024
Thanks but unfortunately , I had already tried that procedure multiple times and can’t get the controller to pair with the new core.
do you have a support ticket on it?
Hi! Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your physical controller:
-
Press and hold the power button on the Yarbo until the tail lights turn blue. This means your Yarbo has entered pairing mode.
-
Next, press and hold the logo button on the physical controller for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light starts flashing quickly (Note: The light will flash slowly at first, so keep holding the button until it starts flashing rapidly).
Your physical controller should now connect to the new core.
If it doesn’t connect after completing steps 1 and 2, please repeat those steps and then add the following third step:
- Press the switch button until you feel the vibration of the controller.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.
@Frederic also make sure the switch on the bottom of the controller is not set to phone mode.

I also have charging issue. Have been talking with support a week now and still no fix. They “fixed” it via OTA, but it isn’t still working for me. It chooses randomly when to charge and when not. Somehow it worked few days after the OTA fix, but today it started all over again and now it sits 100% on the charging pad and not charging.
Does it show green or yellow on the battery icon in the app? Green is charging. Yellow is not. It’s normal for it to flash blue sometimes. It’s discharging the battery periodically to maintain its health. As long as the rover thinks it’s charging and reports that, you should be good to go
When it charges, then it is green. But right now it is yellow and can’t get it to charging. I had a temporal fix for this before (drove Yarbo off the pad and then hit the recharge button and then it went to charging pad autonomously and it started charging). Today I tried that 3x and it didn’t work. Also restarted system and got it charging for few minutes.
Also I am aware of the blue light blinking when charging. Noticed that, but it is irrelevant right now.
Have you tried power cycling the docking station and also pulling th battery cable on the rover for a few mins? Pull power to both for about 5 mins and then power up the dock, then the rover. If that doesn’t get it, they probably need to reapply the fix or diagnose if the dock is going bad.
I have tried everything. I have a perfect gps, rtk and other stuff. Right now I managed to get it to charge with rebooting the Core, but seems that it is definetly app related or code related issue. I do not believe it’s the hardware, but never know.
Yes I have tried all this, the ticket I have open with tech support is about 2 weeks old now and they keep telling me to take those same steps but it does not work. Yarbo’s light turns blue briefly after I hold the power button for 3 seconds, then the controller lights keep flashing. I know how the process works as I had been using it just fine with the original core. It just won’t register with the new core.
Yes Bryan, the switch is still in the controller position, not the phone position.
