As usual, they sent me another refurbished core (13th) and all of the saved maps never made it to the cloud, so i can’t load the core. You would think by now, since we apparently can’t, that saving the latest map to the cloud, would be part of the process of sending a core.
I love waiting to test the new core, as they requested, I so love playing the support chase game, so I can get a cloud map.
Oooh, looks like a feature request … “Vulcan Mind Meld” mode
The replacement Core arrives and we just have to plug in a patch cable between the two units for latest map to transfer…
Agree with you, at this stage of development/deployment this type of function should be resolved and reliable, not “hit or miss”
13th Core? That is crazy amount of replacement. I think I am about to get a third Core and it is not something I am looking forward to experiencing, just want to get through it and have my lawn mowed autonomously …
Go into privacy settings and enable map cloud sync and sharing. If there’s a map in the cloud, it will be available then. If you can power up your old core, save your map with cloud sync enabled and it should push the current map. Then you can power up and restore in the replacement core.
