Is there anywhere to see the runtime hours of the components (particularly the drive motors)? I have other autonomous solutions that track the hours of each component for maintenance tracking.
I received a refurbished replacement core about two weeks ago, and this weekend the left wheel locked up with a “wheel blocked” error (the wheel is not blocked). It got me thinking that we are getting these replacement ‘refurbished’ units with no information about the hours on the components. No idea if these drive motors have 5 hours or 500 hours on them.
Any thoughts on the expected run time for the drive motors?
Not that consumers have access to unfortunately
But there are runtime logs that the yarbo folk can access? So they could provide the runtime hours of the components in refurbished replacent cores?
I don’t know how easily they can access this data either but they’ve mentioned in the past on the live streams and whatnot that they can do it. My suggestion would be to open a ticket and request that information and see if they can provide it.
Please let us know what they say. I’m sure a lot of us would like to get details on our Yarbo’s runtime.
@Yarbo-Forum ticket #138412 submitted.
I love these team tickets.
Hi there! Just to share an update here as well — as our support team mentioned in your ticket, all refurbished units go through full testing, inspection, and certification to ensure they perform like new.
However, the system doesn’t track the cumulative lifetime hours of individual components, so we’re not able to see the exact runtime each part had before refurbishment.
If you have any other questions or need help with anything else, feel free to let us know — we’re always happy to help!
@Yarbo-Forum That’s disappointing, hopefully you’ll consider logging and making that information visable to end users in the future.
In the meantime, if you have Yarbo serial numbers (ending in):
E349 - This unit was new when I received it and has very lmited run time as I was waiting for the M2 and didnt get it until the fall. Some hours for mapping and a bit of leafblowing , thats about it . I’d guesstimate ~20 hours of run time.
G515 - Also was a new core when I got it. Doesnt have a lot more time than that on it, i would say ~60 hours (absolute max).
I’ll likely have another one to add to the list soon, waiting on a blocked wheel update.
