Cutting height adjustment problem

Bob,

Mine has issued an error message for less grass than that. Sometimes I will exercise the blades ( turn them on and instruct to lower and raise a time of two). Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Today I received that message and ended up removing the mower out in the yard with Florida mosquitos sucking the blood out of me. There was no obstruction and when I replaced the mower and restarted Yarbo it worked fine. Next time I will just shut down and restart.

Thanks for the comment. That sucks. So far this is the only time I had the error, so it may have been purely concidental that it misbehaved consistently until I cleaned it out, then worked ok ever since. Entirely possible that shutting down and restart is what really fixed it, but I’m really sus that mines worked very well right on through until I started getting a little too brave with long grass. Who knows.

There is a known issue where the cutting height motor may inadvertently trigger this warning. They are working on a fix. Try the reboot or cycling it up and down a few times to see if that helps.

Hello
It doesn’t move at all, that’s why I have some doubts about a mechanical rather than software problem

In this instance it may be mechanical.

@thierryblanchard I’ve joined your party. My cutting height motor no longer moves either. None of my “fixes” that have been working for the past few weeks work. And my Yarbo has developed a tick… (sound up)

ugh. That tick sounds like a stripped nylon gear…

I was thinking woodpecker…

I don’t have the slightest noise when I ask to lower the discs

Yes. Mine are nearly silent as well. Have get very close to confirm it did something. I’ll be watching for this to get louddr as a sign of possible obstruction.
