My farm is 180m long and 110 m wide (plus a greenland which extend the lenght by 100m) but unfortunately the DC can not cover the whole area.
I use a WIFI Outdoor Router which has a range of 600m and is higher installed than the DC.
However, I use on my farm 4 repeater on a fixed location and I have a super strong signal everywhere, including additipnal 1,4ha forest.
We have here regular problems with russia, which use mobile GPS Jammer (i have electronic equippement to detect theire location) and I wonder, if Yarbo can implement a protocol to triangulate WIFI APs and Repeater to work also without GPS, GLONASS, etc.
I had several times the issue, that MrYarbo lost the GPS and stoped, while it doed not go into STAND-BY while waiting and emptief the Battery.
This mean, if I am not at home and MyYarbo goed Off-Line I have to search for him between field and beds and pull 200m extension cables over the Farm to recharge him manually.
I’m not sure that this is possible. But it sounds like you may want to invest in the battery charging cable. This will let you remove the battery and charge it with the wired charger indoors.
We have one of the russian big oil and gas export port named Ust-Luga very close to our Estonian border. Ukrainians have already hit it at least once with long range drones. Jamming the GPS-Galileo signals is then their way to minimise the potential threat that this would happen again.
We truly understand that having such a feature would be very convenient. While we’re sorry that we may not be able to consider this at the current stage, we are working on optimizing notifications to alert you when Yarbo is stuck, allowing you to take action before the battery runs out.
As Bryan mentioned, you can also purchase a battery cord to directly charge the battery in such cases. We appreciate your understanding and patience!
