Module disconnected

I just noticed that I am receiving a Module disconnected error after mowing yesterday without issue. I’ve removed and replaced the mower module multiple times. The connector pins are clean and straight. I’ve restarted Yarbo multiple times and disconnected the battery. Still without clearing the error. I’ve submitted a ticket #97199. This is the first significant issue I’ve experienced, but is very concerning.

Is the module actually disconnected? There’s a magnetic sensor that may have broken if the module is connected fine. They can remotely disable this sensor until they can get you a part or replacement. The fix won’t survive firmware updates though.

No, the module is connected. I had the module off for inspection/cleaning and disk swapping on Sunday and noticed the disk magnet was intact at that time. I will check tomorrow to see if it’s still OK as well as try the SM to see if the issue is the core or the mower.

bryan.wheeler you got me thinking… on Sunday I added an Apple Airtag in a magnetic case and placed it on the black steel frame inside the core. Could that be affecting the magnetic switch sensor? I’ll take a look at that tomorrow as well.

Please let me know if this is the problem. I’ll want to move my AirTag,

Yes, it might be. I was going to do the same thing, please let us know if it is the issue.

Sadly, removing the magnetic case did not resolve my issue, still Module disconnected. I still need to try the other module, but considering this same issue was also reported here now… I don’t hold out much hope and I’ve not heard anything from Yarbo official on my ticket.

Just removed the M1 and replaced with SAM - Module change detected was the response. Powered down and replaced the SAM with the M1 and back to Module disconnected. The sensor magnet is intact.
I now await a response from support.

Wanted to post the latest update to my issue that may impact others. First, tech support remote connected into Yarbo and resolved the no module attached issue. They did not state what the cause was, but I strongly suspect a pooched firmware update as I counted about five other postings with similar issues.
The other issue of note that I specifically asked support to clarify was if the Apple Airtag or other magnetic field interference could have caused this issue. They reported that it did not, so anyone looking to add an airtag for added surveillance can do so.
