I usually mow in the evenings so the throttling hasn’t hit me much.
I was able to fix my device’s overheating problem by using some reflective bubble wrap from a Home Chef box and double-sided tape. After applying this, I haven’t experienced any more overheating issues. This solution might not be effective in all situations, but it worked well for me here in Maryland.

The black plastic body sucks in the sun heat whether charging or not so adding a reflective heat sink to cover it can’t hurt. (I know adding a white reflective plastic wrap to mine yielded good results.) Just ordered mine.

It’s certainly not worth the money they’re asking for, but I find it makes more sense than the other one being advertised… It’s a bit embarrassing because it looks like the dog’s raincoat
