It is a great idea if you do it like this yourself. Looks ok and works most likely great. It is inexpensive and gives you a warm feeling inside that you can still do some things yourself. I bet the material costs are minimal.
I kind of understand why advertising team didn’t want to add real picture of the darn thing on Yarbo website. Just hideous.

I don’t even know what to say right now. I sure hope this is some sort of a weird mixup. If not, they need to update their pictures ASAP before someone sues for misrepresentation.

It looks the exact same as the top. I’m not sure if I should be worried about mold or anything building up. I’ll probably be fine because the sun is pretty intense where my docking station is but if your Yarbo is in a place with less sun when docked then maybe?
Now that I think about it, I do need to at least give Yarbo credit for their prompt shipping of the “skin”. I thought it was quite possible that no one would get it until sometime this winter.
Yeah I assumed it wouldn’t be here until September at the earliest. But I do feel like this is a mixup with a support model vs the optional accessory skin model.

I had thought it looked good! But not anymore!
I suspected it wouldn’t look as perfect as the rendering on their web site, but of course I assumed it would be a reasonable approximation. Certainly not a completely different product!
It will be interesting to see what Yarbo has to say about this debacle and what they do to make it right.

I really hope so.
But that begs the question… If they accidentally shipped some internal support model by mistake, why would they have a number of these brand new “support models” in retail Yarbo packaging available to be shipped out in the first place?
Just a guess… They received both models at the same time and mixed up which is which. Or, this is what the product is and marketing strikes again.
The fact remains that you can’t advertise one model and ship another… I don’t even think that’s legal.
