This is maddening. I can’t get GPS location working without PPVS and support suggested I enable PPVS with an in-area travel distance of 300 feet (ticket #207861). This didn’t work well as it end up 20 feet outside the boundary (the gravel path) Fortunately it was heading in the direction of the path and flower bed and not the STREET.
Increasing the PPVS distance that far is not a good idea for the exact reason you posted. Determining why the GPS is poor is where we should focus.
What do your diagnostics and satellite scatter plot look like?
In the first pic it has no functional RTK. It’s not going work in that condition. The numbers in the last pic look reasonable. When were these taken?
The Quality number is pretty low. The closer to 1 the better. Does it recover and continue or stop indefinitely? Have you tried swapping the left and right antenna to see if anything changes?
@Yarbo-Forum is there a way to get 2 new GPS antennas shipped? The halow mount broke earlier and I just replaced that. I have the flexible GPS mounts so I didn’t notice any damage to them on the outside. But maybe there is internal antenna damage?
Ticket 207861 is for GPS issues.
Ticket 205797 was for the Halow antenna and mount.
I would try to get the new pro antennas, or purchase them 3rd party if needed faster. I can post a link it you want to the ones I purchased. They are about $60 each from 3rd party.
Have you had this problem since new, or are the GPS issues recent?
Very recent. Maybe the past couple weeks. It worked perfectly all last summer, fall, and winter.
It’s either software related (I applied a couple updates a couple weeks ago) or hardware related from when it went off roading like above except into the woods.
It may have bumped those antennas. If you haven’t tried the swapping left to right, and right to left to see if it improves or worsens. Can prove if one antenna is marginal or going bad. I’d also check and make sure all the connections inside the core where it connects to the mount are tight using those 2 wrenches they give you.
I have the pro antennas (I called them the flexible antennas above). Since it drove into something to break the Halow antenna and mount but not the GPS ones. I’m guessing the flex worked but worry about the antennas themselves.
I just swapped them. Is there any diagnostics avail to see a difference?

That looks improved to me, but hard to tell unless one of your previous screenshots is in the same exact location.
They aren’t the same spot unfortunately. The other ones were from when it got stuck in the yard. Now it’s on the charger.
If it’s improved, does that mean it’s fixed, or that one of the antennas is degraded?
One antenna is degraded, but if it works… I would still consider buying a replacement or two. Going to be faster than waiting on support right now. At least if that fixes your issue, you can have them send you one for a spare.
