Per Area PPVS Setting

So far PPVS has been very helpful even in it’s more early stages. Unfortunately I have places on my property where I can safety have PPVS leveraged with relatively loose restrictions and then other areas where loose restrictions might mean falling/rolling down several feet into rocks and/or water for yarbo. Please allow for adjustment of the PPVS settings per area so that I can ensure tight GPS requirements where needed for safety. No, I can’t just tighten up the general PPVS settings or yarbo will end up stuck without sufficient GPS in certain spots of my yard indefinitely.

This would be very useful, and for some people essential. There’s a huge difference between “go 100ft without great GPS” near the back fence and “go 100ft without great GPS” near the street.

I agree. However I will say mine has never left the boundary and I have some pretty dire consequences if it does.

As long as you have good GPS signal, it shouldn’t be an issue. But anyone who does have those potential consequences should absolutely bump the PPVS settings down to a smaller and more acceptable level in case it does drift when GPS is poor. Because it will drift some. The hope is that it keeps moving as straight as it can long enough to regain GPS signal and recalibrate its position.

I do agree that PPVS needs to be per area or at least a global default with per area override.

Yarbo needs a submarine mode.

Maintaining the kelp forests? :joy:

Hi there, thanks for sharing your ideas on this. We completely understand the usefulness of having PPVS settings adjustable per area. I’ll make sure to pass this feedback along to our product team for consideration.
