As yarbo uses optical sensors and lights. Adding reflective strips or lights to the charging pad could allow the rover to see where to align on the charging pad.
It uses magnetic sensors on the core to align itself with the dock. This lets it work in even snowy and icy environments that would cover any markings or reflective strips/lights.
not saying instead of. but if the rover had a reference durring approach it could avoid the yard burn and improve user experience

I think if it smart turned out in an area and backed down the dock pathway, this would help solve that issue. Recommend giving this suggestion a heart at the link below so they know people are interested in the feature.
