The power connector for the smart-assist module is difficult to attach.
If I connect the smart-assist module connector to the core first then it is very difficult to clip the module to the mounts on the core.
If I mount the module on the core first then there is no room to connect the smart assist cable.
Please make the connector on the smart-assist module a little longer.( 1” or 2.5cm more would make it easier.)
I’ve always found this awkward too, I usually have to tilt it sideway to connect it, then flip it right side up to clip onto the mounts. Because it is so awkward to connect, always make sure the machine is powered off before connecting and disconnecting. It’s strongly advised anyways, but definitely for this module in particular since it is much easier to not get a good click on the first attempt.
My solution to this problem is to not bother using the SAM module at all.

If your going to change the length, add 6 inches ( approximately 15 cm )
This allows the user a little more leeway when they forget that power cord is still attached
