So what’s really going on here?
1 of my cores has the annoying habit of not fully charging the battery from time to time. It is a real PITA because I live 60 miles away and can’t just pop out to leave the core switched off for X amount of time. Usually I can work around the problem buy adjusting what %age it gets kicked off of the Docking Station if I have to until I can get to it to reset the battery.
So what is the deal with these battery packs. Is it a software issue, a battery firmware issue, does it mean there is a cell that is on the way out.
Any insight ro the problem and is there a fix on the way?
The question has been asked multiple times. No conclusive answer was provided thus far.
Seems like insufficient BMS programming to me. But that’s just my supposition.
A true fix for the battery issue is sorely needed. The 4 hour disconnect thing is just a band aid.
Im sure it has come up a few time. Still it doesn’t hurt to give the bear a prod and ask what’s up?
Just had a development.
Because I live over an hour from where my Yarbo works I have just been decreasing the get off the charging dock number.
The unit in question stopped mid mow and wont continue. Whole other issue.
But while it was stopped and I was trying to remotly get it going the battery issue seems to resolve itself! Went from 42% to 82% when changing from 1 screen to another!
