When do we see an update to the trimmer so when yarbo has completed a memory path and does not backing from end to start to get to the next task. And an update so that yarbo does not register a reversing collision when driving forward when mapping. when the trimmer swings forward and triggers the collision sensor.
You can either have that or tow mode. Which do you prefer? ![]()
Tow Mode Tow mode Tow Mode.

At the moment, I’m not able to provide a specific timeline for these improvements yet.
I’ll share your feedback and these requests with our team for review. Thank you for taking the time to bring them up.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the trimmer experience.
My trimmer is still not working (it’s not being recognized) and I have an open ticket since I tried a number of troubleshooting techniques (multiple restarts, disconnected battery for 30 minutes, reconnected, ensure app and firmware are updated). My ticket number is #201657 and was opened 4 days ago.
We’re sorry for the delayed response. Your case has been escalated to our Field Service Engineer (FSE) team for further review. We kindly ask for your patience while the FSE team reaches out to you.
Thank you for the escalation. I saw that, and am awaiting response from the FSE team.
Because they recycled sidewalk code and made a choice to reverse down dead ends if the rear was closest to the entrance (to save the grass). They need to remove that design choice from the code and maybe these problems will go away.
So that was a deliberate design choice??
Yes. It didn’t make sense then and definitely doesn’t now. I appreciate they were trying to save wear and tear on the grass but backing down a dead end will not solve that issue. It will miss a whole cores length of grass at the end.
yes but that’s not the whole problem. even by starting a plane down the pathway yarbo turns 180° and drives up to the area and further up to the start of the memory path.
But that Slovenian update is coming!
Slovenian update, is that the same as tow mode? Asking for a friend.
Why is the raised emergency stop button version not delivered with the trimmer? Is it cancelled? It was released with the trimmer release. Unless the firmware doesn’t work properly and the app doesn’t respond fast enough, you have to use the emergency stop. It’s just really hard to release it again when you can barely get your fingers under it.
Don’t know why, but it is no longer part of the release. We didn’t even have it with our test versions. I haven’t had much of an issue hitting the stop, but releasing it is much harder.
Yes, the raised emergency stop button has been cancelled and is no longer part of the Trimmer release.
