Unit spinning in circles

Mine has done this when the cameras create a giant donut of obstacles in it’s path.

While this is happening, if you look at the map, is there a giant donut of red around the core?

If that’s the case, set Obstacle Avoidance to gentle touch, or possibly custom->Limited and see if it ignores them… assuming the area is safe for that type of avoidance. It will hit things to prove they exist.
