Upcoming Hotfix: Firmware 3.9.29 & App 3.15.5

Sorry. Use the handles on the side unless you want your fingers removed.

“Yarbo is adjusting the blade.” is the message, like normal when first starts mowing or changes height etc. That’s what the plan does, I have only let it sit for a few minutes and stopped it. When manually controlling the blade button turns on/off like it worked (but doesn’t) the height adjustment button just has a perpetual spinning circle.

Moved the deck manually all around and nothing :frowning: If it’s any kind of short it’s a pretty big one… so maybe it is a software thing. I did have it hang during the last update, so maybe that messed it up.

Thank you and @ken.w.gregory . Yarbo should be paying you guys.

Edit: In retrospect I now realize I should have tried everything including the mower right after the update.

Are the blades in or out? (ie. at 1.2 extended or 4.0 retracted)

There should be some “play” in the cutting motors:

If you have the inclination, you can measure the how far out they are extended.

Mine worked at 3 inches.

Once they extended to 3 and 1/2 inches, there was nothing I could do to get it going again.

(Except wait for a replacement. )

At 3 and 1/2 inches there was no “play” as I believe it had “bottomed out” against the end stop and could not retract.

And I ended up with a ticking noise like maybe a gear stripped or something.

That’s what happened to me.

Yours may be something totally different.

If you don’t have a ticket create one and post it here and tag Yarbo-Forum.

Found the ticking….

(sound up)

More of a woodpecker….

Yup, mine are down almost exactly this far… except no ticking, no noise at all, went back and listened close to it just to make sure. Can’t push them up with moderate force.

Just saw in another thread that the pro mower which I pre-ordered against my better judgement may start arriving by the end of this month… if so I may get that before I get a replacement for this, lol.

Edit: Sorry I read that wrong, mine are exactly at 3 inches (first picure), not 3.5… so maybe that’s a good thing.

It’s probably the harnesses. Hopefully not, but most likely.

Sounds like you’re stuck waiting on support.

We’re sorry to hear about the issue. Your support ticket has been escalated to our field service engineer for further investigation, and we’ll keep you updated once we reach a conclusion.
