Yarbo cant seem to navigate around anything anymore, just sits there “waiting for the blades to reach the required speed”. Trees, septic tank covers, playsets, doesnt matter. It stays waiting for the blades then starts sending “yarbo hasnt moved in 10 minutes…” errors. Yesterday I got 45 of these errors. It used to run this same plan with no issues.
I’ve tried turning vision on and off, different obstacles avoidance, no difference.
Agree with @rgloverii that this seems like a mower module issue that is fairly common right now. Hopefully support can get it diagnosed quickly for you.
Actually this is the M1, but thats a good point. I used to use the pro mower here but moved it to a different property. These issues have all popped up since switching to the m1.
Pointing to an issue with the M1 module. Ticket incoming…
My m1 has been doing that a lot usually I can wiggle the wires and it’ll start going again or sometimes when I’m not close to it I’ll pause it and back it up a couple feet and restart it and that gets it going. Also some things I’ve done that seemed to help was spray electric contact cleaner in the plug and used zip ties to pull the wires tighter to the plug and also moved the wire in the clamp on the inside of the module
Following up on this. You guys were on the right track with the electronics connection appearing to be the issue. I get the “wait for the blades” error, leading to the “Yarbo hasnt moved in 10 minutes” alarms when the core and the mower are at different angles (going over small hills, tree roots, etc).
Two photos of where Yarbo has failed on these errors recently are attached. When the core and unit are out of angle with each other,
I get the “Please wait until the blades reach the required speed”, which never gets satisfied. If I move the unit onto flat ground it will continue. Sure seems like the connector is the culprit.
@Yarbo-Forum ticket #226230 has been submitted for this issue.
If the behavior is consistent and since you’ll be waiting for some time for resolution, I’m curious about Bryan’s suggestion. See if it behaves better with area’s “Module Gap” set on “Tight”.
Thank you for submitting the ticket and providing the detailed information and photos. We really appreciate your help in identifying and reporting this issue.
