I have tried all the usual attempts to fix the core, but it never completes the boot cycle.
Tried the 60 second power button.
Tried the 5 minute battery disconnect.
Can’t connect locally with app via Bluetooth or wifi.
Can’t connect with the Physical controller.
Bluetooth shows green for a moment in the app, but device remains offline.
It is the same problem as this person is having, although they at least could finally connect locally.
I opened ticket #230727 and noted in my original notes it Never responded “Ready to work” and their first reply asked me if it ever responded “Ready to work”. I wanted to be like, did you even read what I wrote and why are you asking me to confirm what I already said…
Give this a try and see if you can get WiFi connected for support to try and remotely connect and fix this for you. It may take a few tries if bluetooth is connecting briefly.
Sorry for the confusion caused by the initial reply email. The troubleshooting steps in that response were generated by our AI system, and we will continue improving its training to enhance the service quality.
I’ll personally follow up on your case to ensure it is handled properly and resolved as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
I let them know in the ticket that it was showing connected to my home wifi. But they made no mention if they ever tried to connect and perform a remote fix. The next thing I knew, they asked for a video of the lights during bootup, which I uploaded almost 12 hours ago and no one has viewed to date.
It may take some time for them to escalate it to the FSE’s. Hopefully they get back to you soon. You may need to connect the wired charger to keep the battery charged until they get back to you.
I had the wired charger connected all last night, it is raining right now, so I am leaving it on battery for the moment. They never made any mention of involving the FSEs. It shows as a CS_Ticket now. I really don’t want some refurbished core if this can be fixed. It was in the middle of a work plan when it just went offline and has been brain dead ever since.
@Yarbo-Forum Has anyone considered that with all your current system issues (most being software / firmware), adding an AI support agent might be a misallocation of resources?
Let’s be honest customer service is only a tiny, itty-bitty micro-bit better than your software engineering department right now. Are they trying to race to the bottom? Diverting technical resources to stand up an AI agent while core system fundamentals are still broken feels completely backwards. Management really needs to re-evaluate where these engineering hours are going.
Thank you for sharing your honest feedback. We completely understand your concerns and appreciate you taking the time to share your perspective.
The introduction of an AI support assistant is an important step to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of our after-sales support. The resources invested in this area are separate from our ongoing product development and optimization efforts, and will not impact our commitment to improving software, firmware, and overall product performance. Our development and engineering teams will continue focusing on addressing existing issues and delivering a better Yarbo experience.
At the same time, we recognize that the current AI responses still need further improvement in terms of accuracy, understanding, and communication quality. We are continuously optimizing this experience based on the feedback we receive from our users.
We truly appreciate your candid feedback, and we welcome you to continue sharing your thoughts with us as we work to improve both the product and support experience.
