Hey, the other day my yarbo shut off by itself, i booted it back up and it mowed most of the yard the next day and then died in the middle of it. If you tried to boot it by pressing the silver button the moment you let off the yarbo dies, it will start flashing and moving the hydraulic front end but the moment you let off it dies. After holding for 80 seconds it finally booted enough for me to get it home and made it through the night. The next day i just put the smart module on and ran it around the yard for a few minutes and it died in my front yard with all the lights flashing red over and over, after that i cant keep it online. I put in a support ticket a few days ago but havent had a response yet. Any ideas or help is super appreciated

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this issue. I’ve already asked our team to review your case as soon as possible, and they’ll follow up with you shortly.
i appreciate it, i got it to help out for when im down and out with surgery and that happens this friday so im kinda bummed, when it works its awesome! i just hope we can get it back up soon
Any updates on this? I woke up today and mine was offline. I disconnected the battery and all the lights flash red and it still shows offline. I’ve had the charger plugged in for about an hour and still nothing.
Pull the battery cable for 5 mins. Hold the power button for 60 seconds. If it still flashes red afterwards, get a ticket opened.
Yep, I just tried that out and it worked. Thanks!
Awesome, glad to hear it.
I just updated to the latest firmware and red lights blinking..
- #207793 ticket attached been over 24 hours no response still.. all was good until the latest update .. no errors on the update.. just getting all sorts of errors.. battery errors , no modules installed which i tried multiple ones.. can the firmware be pushed again? i think it was that.. has to be it was in perfect working order until i updated the firmware..
Have you tried the steps I mentioned above? Disconnect the battery for 5 mins and then hold the power button for 60 seconds?
Hi there,
Could you please try the following steps?
-
Disconnect the battery and leave it unplugged for 5 minutes.
-
Reconnect the battery cable.
-
Then press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
If the issue persists, please keep us updated. I’ll be happy to help follow up on ticket #207793 and assist in any way I can.
Thank you!
Currently in my situation it still shuts off after a reboot and the lights start flashing again so they have deemed service needed, I didnt keep my packaging so they are going to send a new box out so i can send it in but currently the eta is 3 weeks before i get it up and going and i dont have tracking info yet so i dont think the box has shipped yet.
I just submitted a ticket with the following info because it happened again yesterday.
I’m getting multiple codes coming up. Yesterday I found my Yarbo stranded in the middle of my yard. Lights were flashing red. I had a similar issues a few days ago, so I followed the same procedure of disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting the battery and then holding the activate button for ~60 seconds.
After doing that, the Yarbo still wasn’t working. If I continued to hold the activate button, I could connect the Yarbo to my app and I found it was giving a “Lost Battery Communication” error (B001). Battery voltage was at 40%. It was also giving errors for the front camera disconnected (CM006) and left camera disconnected.
I tried multiple times to reboot it, without success. I tried a different mower module and without the module connected. Finally, I disconnected the battery and left it sit overnight.
I am still getting the B001 and camera errors this morning, but the Yarbo at least stayed functional enough for me to manually drive it to the docking station where it is currently charging and connected but still reporting the B001 error.
Are you able to connect to yours through the app? I’ve found, I have to hold the activate/power button for much longer than 60 seconds and if I continue to hold the button in, I was able to connect to the app and see the errors it was reporting.
When you say all lights were flashing red, was there a pattern to the flashing like two blinks on, then a pause, then two blinks again, repeating?
Currently, it’s on the charging pad and no lights are blinking but it’s still reporting the Lost Battery Connection through the app.
I wasn’t paying enough attention to the blink sequence, so I can’t say for sure. I thought it was just slowly (every .5-1 second) blinking but I’m not sure.
Make sure the battery cable is fully seated. It’s easy sometimes for it to feel seated, but still isn’t fully inserted.
I would try disconnecting the battery cable for 4 hours to reset the BMS and force it to recalibrate. Then connect the wired charger and make sure it fully charges (green light). Note any troubleshooting steps taken in your ticket so it helps speed up your support response when they do finally get to you. I’d recommend dropping your ticket number here for the forum moderator to look into it.
Lights started blinking again and they just blinking slowly about 1 second on and 1 second off. No two blink pattern.
Thanks for the reply, my rover died the other night, and it was doing the 2 pulse code, but no one knows what that means as yarbo has not released what the blinking means.
