Yarbo Docking Station Light Not On

Received a message that my core had docked but could not charge. When I went out to check, the indicator light was red. I verified it was centered on the dock and there was no debris in the way. I then unplugged the docking station, waited two minutes, then plugged it back in. Now there are no lights visible. I did also verify the outlet was good by plugging another device into the outlet. Any suggestions?

Check all the cabling to the dock and flip it over to inspect the the connector underneath. There have been some failures of these. If all looks good, a support ticket is probably next.

All looks good. Ticket 244487 has been created.

2023 dock or 2024?

2024

If you have a multimeter you could check to see if you have power on the connector pins from the power cord. At least you’d know if you need to swap both cable and dock.

I’ve read about (And experienced) a lot of these small glitches that always seem to surface after a software/app update. What I’ve been doing since the past 5-6 updates is verifying that my app shows that the app and the core are on the latest update version. Then I make sure the core setup is properly on the D/S. Then I hardboot the entire system by first shutting it down through the app. Then I disconnect my battery and unplug the D/C. You can leave the charger/DC plugged in. Wait about 5 minutes and plug everything back in and do another start up. In my unexpert computer programming mind, I treat it the same as when my desktop (Windows) does an update. It automatically restarts numerous times and ends up telling that the update was successful. Because I still get prompt that sat an update is available. I manually restart and it all falls into place. Not saying that this will correct your issue, but it has been working for me and I hope that it can help you and anyone else that fight the bugs that the bugs the software fixed and created at the same time. At least the bugs are getting smaller and easier to kill on the user’s end.

Sorry to hear about the issue. This will need further investigation from our Support team, and we’ll follow up with you through your support ticket as soon as possible.

We appreciate your patience while our team looks into this and works toward a resolution.

@yarbo-forum I appreciate the response, but it has been over 36 hours since the last response and I would really like to get this resolved.

Hi there, sorry for the delayed response. I’ve checked your support ticket and confirmed that the Docking Station replacement has already been initiated.

We appreciate your patience while the replacement is on its way. Once you receive it, please keep us updated on how things are working.

@yarbo-forum Very much appreciated. I did receive the email very late last night, but did not see it until this morning.
