Reboot stops after 30 seconds and all lights go off (powers off)

My Yarbo last ran on 09/08/25, and some time in the week since, powered off by itself. When I tried to connect, I discovered that it attempts to reboot, then dies about 30 seconds into that process and never finishes. I did try to put in a support ticket, but the support page just says “Welcome to the Support Center” and the rest of the page is blank. Plugged the charger into it directly in case the battery was low or drained for some reason and will try again tomorrow. Data center connects to the app and shows a green light, and the charging base light is blue. Tried swapping modules, but it still acts the same.

you can access support center in app, on the web at support.yarbo.com or by emailing support@yarbo.com

Have you tried holding the power button for up to 60 seconds?

Ticket #117755

I’ve tried holding the power button 60 seconds and longer, unit starts boot cycle at initial press, but powers off at 30 seconds or so while button is still pressed. Nothing happens at 60 seconds or even up to 90 seconds thereafter. Does not reboot after I let go of the button at 60+ seconds. No noises or other indication of activity once the cycle is interrupted and all lights go dark.

@cwharp, did you ever get a resolution on this?

I am having the same issue. Opened support ticket #122581, but haven’t heard anything after the canned troubleshooting and request for a video of the issue.

I did grab a packet capture, since I can reproduce this on demand. I can see traffic from the Data Center all the time. During the Core boot sequence, I see it pull an IP address and connect to some AWS services. Then the traffic stops when the core shuts down.

I wonder if attaching that packet capture was a good thing or if it just confuses the matter. I am sure they can see the details in their AWS console.

I did notice that the data center publishes it’s GPS data, so at least I got a stratum 1 time source out of it :man_shrugging:

Anyway, just curious how things turned out for you while I sit and wait.

Hi @brainwarr , this issue in @cwharp’s case turned out to be related to the power board, and we sent a replacement to resolve it. For your case, we’ll need to investigate further to determine the exact root cause. Thanks for your patience while our team looks into it.
