Hi there, the B009 fix mentioned in the release notes was specifically related to false detections of the error. Your case was different, as it involved an actual issue with the power board, so the replacement was still necessary.
Please also rest assured that our refurbished Yarbo units go through strict inspection and quality control before they are sent out. If you notice anything specific about the replacement Core that doesn’t seem right, please let us know and we’ll be happy to look into it with you.
First mow with new update. I see some interesting curvy shapes in work plan - all fine as long as it works
Still backed up in the same blueberry bed (last time support told that there was some temporary GPS issues or something). It’s funny coincidence that there are GPS issues at the same place every time given that there is open and unobstructed view of the sky in that place. But whatever - i will redraw the NGZ again as support suggested, but won’t leave half a meter from it, because then what’s the point of having robot mower if I have to run around with trimmer after it?
Let’s see when it will finish the work plan, but according to the planned mow lines, there will be a patch of missed cut.
0 cm of course.
I expect yarbo to respect the NGZs. And if I draw the NGZ by yarbo (with lawn mower head) driving around the ngz, I expect that yarbo can do the same path autonomously when mowing along NGZ and not poking it’s head or ass in NGZ while doing other area.
I’ve had the same thing happen on my map, but it initially shows that it’s going to cut. Then, when it reroutes because it placed a false object in the path, it’ll remove a line like what was shown above.
I have had such ticket …
initially they told to try bigger overlap, then test out other patterns and then told that this issues will be solved in future updates … have had ~ 3 firmware updates since then … still not fixed …
not sure what another ticket will improve? again I will have to do woodoo dance with setting and testing things out under time pressure (otherwise ticket will be closed).
I shouldn’t be working as beta tester … at least I’m not paid for that.
I get it. I have had issues since May that they have not fixed, been told the same, change this change that, no help. Then, oh this will be fixed in the next update, and many updates later and not fixed. I now am 2 cores later and the issue is still here so I opened another ticket late last week, no results or ideas yet.
Yep. There are dozens of unaddressed issues. They spend all the resources fixing things they broke in a previous release. All these updates and it still can’t perform the basic task of cutting ALL the grass. The one that drives me insane is the missed spots on turnarounds. That should be a simple correction, yet 1-1/2 years later nothing has changed. They haven’t even attempted to address it.
I haven’t been able to cut any grass after the latest update as it is too dry here. But since I moved to 0 offset once, and have since moved it back to 4 I still get missed 1 inch strips every so often. They have to get basic mowing fixed.
Just wait till we all jump into winter, remember at the end of winter there was huge update that hardly anyone got to try, that is waiting for us in the next few months…
Snowblower was dialed in pretty good by the end of snow season. They need to get these updates and fixes out for each season, BEFORE each season starts. Not after we are well into them.
Yeah, that is the issue, there were big changes that they sent out after the season was over in most areas. So most people did not even try it. Now wait till the the first major snowfalls, and see how many will have issues, I hope not, but this is usually not the case lately.
I think @rcguymike was probably still using it around that time. I think it was pretty dialed in. But there are still things that need improvement, as always.
That’s really my boggest worry for any of the off season modules.
You’d think I could just pop the blower back on the core and send it off to clear the leaves using last year’s area setups. Nope. I won’t immediately trust it cause I have no idea what has changed since last year. Gotta watch the blower and make sure there aren’t any regressions first.
